ABOUT ME

From 2008 untill the end of 2015 I was a Vice President of Polish Tourist Organisation, mainly responsible for regional and local cooperation, developing Polish Tourist Information System and supervising the distribution of EU founds (6.4 POIG). I hold Ph.D. awarded by Poznań University of Economics for the dissertation titled “Determinants of Tourism Product Quality”. I also completed an international post-diploma program in “Public Administration of European Union” at the West Pomeranian Business School.

Between 1998 and 2008 was employed as an assistant professor at the West Pomeranian Business School. From 2001 until 2002 I was active as a member of the Revision Board of the West-Pomeranian Regional Tourism Organization. I was a founding member of the Szczecin Tourism Organization, a member of the Board of Experts in Tourism for the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Province of Poland, an expert of the West Pomeranian Tourism Chamber of Commerce, and an instructor and consultant for the tourism industry. My academic and consulting experience includes numerous publications, analyses and reports in tourism and tourism marketing. I has also gathered ample experience as an author, manager and subcontractor of projects co-financed from the EU funds.

For eight years I served as a member of supervisory board for Szczecin and Swinoujscie Seaports Authority SA (Zarząd Morskich Portów Szczecin i Świnoujście S.A.).
